Biographical or historical note Nigel Bassett-Jones is a currently a senior lecturer at Oxford Brookes University, UK, following his retirement as the Head of Department of Organisational and Management Studies. His research interests lie at the intersection of human resource management, innovation, and systems theory. He is the author of several book chapters and various journal articles and conference contributions. He has worked as a consultant specialising in organisation and management development serving both public and private sector organisations and has taught on MA, MBA and MSc programmes in various institutions in the UK and contributed as a visiting lecturer on MBA programmes in Finland, France and South Africa.
