Today's world is one that is wireless and information processing using sensors is a rapidly-growing research area of electrical engineering and computer science. This book helps the reader understand the fundamental theories of wireless technology with respect to the different parts of the sensor network. Ad hoc sensors, due to the improvement in sensor technology, are being used in a wide variety of fields such as military, commercial, homeland security applications, air traffic control and deep sea diving.
