There was no enough evidence in the literature addressing the wearing time of the aligners and evaluating the decreased effect of lesser daily wearing time. Therefore, this study was conducted on 14 patients of mild to moderate crowding or spacing to investigate the outcomes of different daily wearing times(75). Patients were randomly allocated into two groups, the first group was instructed to wear the aligners 16 hours per day (part-time), and the other group was instructed to wear the aligners 22 hours per day (full-time). Full set of pre-treatment records were taken. Impressions were taken and scanned. Maestro software was used for staging of tooth movement. STL files were exported, and 3D printed then the models were thermoformed by positive pressure using 0.75 mm thickness Zendura sheets. Aligners were delivered to the patients every two weeks(64). Impressions were taken after aligner number 4 (T4) and 8 (T8) and scanned. The data was measured by superimposing the software predicted STL over clinically achieved model. Linear and angular measurements were collected using Geomagic software to measure the difference between the predicted and actual outcome (92).
